Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to join our Global Core Platform Team.
This role requires expertise in developing enterprise-grade B2B SaaS products. Due to the technical nature of this position, prior experience as a developer is essential.
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of aspects of the platform roadmap, focusing on enhancing its operability. Key areas include security, non-functional requirements, single sign-on (SSO), observability, instrumentation, alerting, and more.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with development teams, designers, and architects to deliver products that are scalable, and secure, to ensure we provide a highly operable cloud platform
- Partner with domain-focused product managers to design the platform's API products, ensuring APIs are extensible, consistent and discoverable
- Engage with technical audiences, both internal and external, to validate API designs and ensure an exceptional developer experience
- Prioritize product requirements effectively, balancing impact and reach to drive the highest value outcomes
- Articulate your vision for new features through clear presentations and comprehensive documentation, enabling efficient execution by engineering teams
- Employ a diverse set of strategies—such as user interviews, platform analytics, and market research—to uncover and validate requirements effectively
- Provide regular updates to internal stakeholders, including executive teams, ensuring alignment and transparency
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a developer prior to switching to product management
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in building highly complex enterprise B2B SaaS products
- Ability to quickly assimilate new concepts and technologies
- Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable with virtual collaboration in a global context
- Exceptional ability to communicate your vision clearly and effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks
- A proven ability to make progress and drive results even in the face of ambiguity
- Open to change and always curious with a real interest in innovation (e.g. learning about new tech trends)
