Job purpose


As a Market & Competitive Intelligence Apprentice, you’ll support the Strategic Insights Director by helping to gather and analyze market trends and competitor information. Your insights will help us stay competitive and identify new business opportunities. This apprenticeship will give you exposure to both strategic analysis and real-world market intelligence tools.

Key Responsibilities


1. Market & Competitive Intelligence Analysis

  • Help track and analyze industry trends and competitors.
  • Support the creation of reports and presentations with key insights for the team.

2. Research & Data Collection

  • Conduct research to gather market information from various sources.
  • Analyze competitors’ strategies and industry.

3. Support Strategic

  • Assist in preparing strategic reports for internal teams.
  • Provide insights to help product, marketing, and sales teams with competitive positioning.

4. Competitive Benchmarking

  • Participate in competitive benchmarking exercises for key competitors .
  • Help maintain an updated database of competitive landscape and market trends.

5. Event Participation & Industry Monitoring

  • Help track key industry events, trade shows, and conferences for competitive intelligence.
  • Share insights from these events with internal teams

Key performance objectives
1. Ensure reports and research are completed on time and with accurate insights.
2. Contribute to knowledge-sharing and receive feedback from teams using your insights.
3. Ensure insights align with the company’s business goals.

Profile and skills

  • Currently studying or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, or related fields.
  • Experience or coursework in market research, strategic analysis, or competitive intelligence is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
  • Fluent in English. Additional languages (e.g., French) are a bonus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and present clear insights.
  • Able to collaborate with global teams and contribute to projects.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing market dynamics and organizational needs.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and contribute new ideas to improve processes.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
