A summary of the role

This role is a fixed-term contract of 12 months.

Your main activities will be to :

• Focus on controlling activities, financial reporting & month-end closing for Ingenico UK Limited
• Support 5 legal entities based in the UK, Germany, and Switzerland
• Reporting to the Head of Finance
• Based in Dalgety Bay, Fife, Scotland
• We are flexible in our way of working and strongly encourage a hybrid model of part office/part remote (office 2 days per week)

Key responsibilities

• Assist in month-end closing
• Support statutory financial, regulatory, and statistical reporting requirements
• Support internal and external audit activity
• Focus on internal control
• Monthly P&L reporting to internal budget holders / cost centre managers
• Preparation of monthly financial reports for senior management including variance analysis
• Reporting of KPIs via dashboards, project reporting, profitability reporting
• Financial analysis including business cases and pricing requests

Desired Skills and Abilities

• Qualified Accountant with 1-2 years post-qual experience
• Strong knowledge of both UK and International Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards
• Very strong knowledge of Excel
• Must be a quick learner, pro-active, well organised and self- motivated
• Collaborative and team orientated
• Good communication skills at all levels within the organisation
• Ability to use initiative and self-starter

• Knowledge of SAP would be a strong advantage
• Previous experience of working in the Finance function within a large international Group
