A pre-sales manager is responsible for several key tasks. The role involves working closely with sales teams to understand potential clients’ needs. Based on this understanding, pre-sales manager develop appropriate technical solutions.
Another key task is product demonstration. This involves convincing prospects of the company’s value through detailed and persuasive presentations. Therefore, their communication skills and technical expertise must be well-balanced.
Creating personalized commercial proposals is a central part of pre-sales manager work. This requires a deep knowledge of the products or services offered, combined with a fine understanding of the client’s expectations. The goal is to demonstrate how these solutions can optimally meet identified needs. Translating technical specifications into concrete client benefits is a critical skill here. A well-crafted proposal greatly facilitates the sales team’s work during final negotiations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Planning of sales strategies, the positioning in contrast to the competitors and the demonstration of the products
- Preparation of presentations about the products or services with all their values for the usage of the sales department
- Coordination/organization of demand generating activities like tradeshows, company events, customer workshops
- Engagement with the customers and interpretation of their needs and derivation of advice for prospective products that are aligned with the customers' demands
- Prepare SOW and commercial proposals for the customers, once it accepted by customer working closely with legal team to prepare respective contract draft (scope, price, project timeline, etc.)
- Once contract signed with the customer, control of project execution, control of solution delivery to customer, collecting feedbacks during UAT

THE SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must have competencies
- degree in business or IT
- English knowledge
- analytical skills and the ability to recognize the demands on the side of the clients
- good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
- basic IT skills
- intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- strong customer service orientation
Nice-to-have competencies
- at best, experience in a similar position
- POS terminals (payments or transaction processing) knowledge is the plus
- stress resistance, to be able to handle priorities
