Job purpose

Secure OS team is in charge of creating and maintaining firmware for Secure Element co-processor in Ingenico Android Terminals. This firmware is based on a commercial real-time kernel and provides hardware management (peripheral drivers), as well as all functions related to banking security. Secure OS team is also in charge of Android firmware modules that export Secure Element services to middleware.

Depending on your profile and your skills, you focus on components for our Android firmware or you focus on embedded real time operating system in the Secure Element.

As a developer, your mission is to analyze requirements, draft technical solution, participate to development of feature, participate to the test effort, either by writing automated tests or executing manual test campaign. You work in collaboration with the requesters, architects, and peers.

You help to define efficient solutions regarding customer requests, with a good balance between the customer expectation & the complexity of the solution.

You participate to the documentation for the various deliverable done by the team - internal documentation for the team or documentation for security approvals.

You contribute to the maintenance of the deliverable done by the team, by supporting our customers and fix issues raised by the customers

Key responsibilities

  • Implementation of Secure OS for new products / new processors
  • Accelerate the development of new features
  • Ensure the quality of the deliverables
  • Bugs investigation and fix
  • Generation of new releases of different modules
  • Unit tests and embedded integration tests
  • Internal documentation and documentation for security approvals

Profile & skills

You have a Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and internships in embedded software development. You' re fluent in French and English.

Important technical skills :

  • Programming languages: C, C++, Python
  • Real Time Kernels
  • Low Level Drivers development
  • Cryptography
  • ARM Cortex M architecture
  • Linux, Android, Cuttlefish
  • Docker, Conan,
  • CI/CD: Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Git, Sonarqube
  • Jira, Confluence

Other important skills :

  • Autonomous to stay up to date regarding the technology in the applicable domain.
  • Master the various development language / technologies required to perform the mission.
  • Excellent team spirit and good collaboration skills, able to easily communicate with colleagues within and outside of his team.
