Main responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior QA Engineer with a strong background in financial systems and applications. The ideal candidate will lead automation efforts across our financial integration solution, ensuring robust testing of mission-critical systems. This role requires deep knowledge of automation frameworks, financial data validation, ISO 8583 messaging, and performance, security, and reliability testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for financial applications including trading platforms, payment gateways, and risk management systems.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for API, and backend services using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Plan and execute non-functional testing including performance, load, stress, security, and reliability testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, product owners, and compliance officers to define test strategies aligned with financial regulations (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
• Validate financial transactions, data integrity, and reporting accuracy across systems.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and work with DevOps.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and ensure timely resolution.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in automation and quality assurance.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, results, and compliance checks.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with at least 2 years in the finance domain.
• Experience with financial systems testing, including transaction validation and reconciliation.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance testing and audit requirements.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• ISTQB or equivalent certification.
• Experience with data security, encryption and penetration testing.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

Knowledge of financial protocols (ISO 8583) and data formats (XML, JSON).
