Job Title: Project Manager –

Location: [Italian Office / Flexible within EMEA]
Department: EMEA Professional Services
Experience Level: Mid-Level (3–5 years)
Reports to: Head of Project Management

Role Overview

As a Project Manager within the EMEA region, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering software integration and professional services projects for key clients, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project scope and risks, and act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of SW and Professional Services projects (e.g., Android app deployment, TMS configuration, certifications, and custom developments).
  • Lead project planning, resource coordination, risk and issue management.
  • Monitor progress, ensure adherence to deadlines, and report status to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with software development teams, QA, security/compliance, and hardware teams when applicable.
  • Coordinate customer deliverables, including documentation, testing, certification, and training.
  • Serve as the main contact for clients during project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with PCI and Ingenico internal processes and quality standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of delivery practices and tools.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in project management, ideally in software or IT/telecom sectors.
  • Proven experience managing software integration or service delivery projects in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across countries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken) – mandatory.

Preferred Skills

  • Background in payments, fintech, or POS technology.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or Smartsheet.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, international environment.
