About the Role
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join our Quality Operations team. In this role, you will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure component quality, manufacturing process capability, and continuous improvement across the supply base.
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Bangkok, Thailand, reporting to the Head of Manufacturing and Supplier Quality, with 10–20% travel as required.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Supplier Quality Engineering activities within New Product Development (NPD) projects by understanding design intent, technical, industrial, and quality requirements
- Ensure supplier deliverables meet Ingenico specifications, quality standards, and project timelines
- Measure, monitor, and manage supplier performance during Incoming Quality Control (IQC) and mass production
- Lead supplier-related quality issue management, including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and lessons learned
- Provide technical guidance to suppliers to ensure compliance with Ingenico drawings, specifications, and component datasheets
- Support R&D, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams by facilitating technical and industrial alignment with suppliers
- Ensure critical process parameters are identified, documented, and effectively controlled to achieve capable and sustainable manufacturing processes
- Collect and validate supplier evidence demonstrating compliance with Ingenico quality and industrial requirements
- Conduct supplier audits as part of supplier selection, component qualification, and annual audit programs
- Lead supplier improvement initiatives at supplier sites and support cross-site quality actions
- Manage supplier-related quality issues identified in the field
- Contribute to supplier scorecards and quality dashboards
- Liaise with the Legal team to establish and manage Quality Agreements with new and approved suppliers (AVL)
What You’ll Bring
Education & Qualifications
- Degree in Quality, Engineering, Electronics, Automotive, or other relevant technical discipline
- Quality Auditor certification is a plus (not mandatory)
Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or a related technical discipline
- Strong exposure to component qualification processes (PPAP or equivalent) and supplier development
- Experience managing quality contracts / quality agreements with suppliers
Technical Expertise
- Solid knowledge of electronic technologies and commodities such as:
- Semiconductors & Memories
- Smart Card Readers
- Connectors & Telecom Modules
- Metal Stamping, Plastics, PCBs
- Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and metrology data
- Proven expertise in quality and lean tools including FMEA, PPAP, SPC, Gage R&R, Six Sigma, 8D, 5-Why
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills; proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Minitab

- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset
Languages
- English: Fluent (written and verbal)
- Thai: Fluent (written and verbal)
- Chinese: Advantageous but not mandatory
