ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
You’ll work closely with Ingenico’s Sales, Solutions, Operations, and regional leadership teams, acting as a trusted legal partner across the business. The team supports commercial growth while ensuring compliance, managing risk, and enabling innovation across technology-driven payment and fintech solutions in the U.S. and beyond. Collaboration, practical legal guidance, and business partnership are at the core of how the team operates.
The position follows a hybrid work arrangement, requiring three days per week in the office, and is based out of our Alpharetta office.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Advise, draft, and negotiate sales and procurement contracts, including hardware, software solutions, and professional services agreements.
- Consult and advise Sales, Solutions, and Operations teams on a broad range of commercial, technology, security, and regulatory matters.
- Evaluate liability and risk exposure across agreements and provide recommendations to Americas General Counsel and internal stakeholders.
- Support corporate law and civil litigation matters, including managing and supervising external counsel.
- Assist in implementing, maintaining, and educating employees on internal policies, legal templates, and legal processes.
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of U.S. commercial and corporate law, with a solid understanding of software licensing, privacy and security issues related to solutions.
- Proven experience managing contracts and contract lifecycle management tools.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and analyze complex legal and business situations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, accurate, and concise legal guidance.
- Proven experience managing contracts and contract lifecycle management tools.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong attention to detail and deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset, able to partner effectively across regions and functions.
- Business-oriented legal approach focused on enabling outcomes while managing risk.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of law firm and/or in-house corporate transaction matters.
- Experience working in-house at software or fintech company.
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentials.
- Active membership in good standing at least one U.S. state bar.
