ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM
The Accounting Manager will play a key role in maintaining, strengthening, and overseeing the internal control framework for the North America Region (NAR) while managing the accounting operations and month‑end close process for the US region. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to drive process improvements, enhance financial discipline, and support the growth and efficiency of our business.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Oversee the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger, including review of key balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure standardization and compliance across the NAR region
- Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and settlements to ensure proper accounting and consolidation.
- Oversee fixed assets accounting, including additions, retirements, depreciation, and periodic asset reviews.
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to support cost control, standard costing, and inventory-related financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory, tax, financial reporting, and internal audit requirements.
- Serve as a key user for SAP, BFC, and other financial systems and support system enhancements, testing, and process automation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain financial KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics to support management decision-making.
- Collaborate with FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives, projects, and system implementations to represent Accounting requirements.
- Foster a strong control environment by ensuring adequate documentation, workflows, and segregation of duties.
- Provide financial insights and guidance to business partners across functions to support operational and strategic decisions.
ABOUT YOUR SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required; CPA strongly preferred.
- 3–6 years of experience with a Big Four or leading public accounting firm, preferably within Audit or Assurance.
- Additional 2–4 years of experience within a corporate or for-profit environment is a plus.
- Proven experience evaluating, designing, and implementing internal controls in complex business environments.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities and cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate financial insights into business impact.
