The Role:
The Product Manager is responsible for defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, and business objectives. This role drives the “why” and “what” of the product, working closely with stakeholders and development teams to maximise value delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product management for Android solutions within the NER Software Delivery team
- Collaborate with customers, users, and internal stakeholders to gather insights and define requirements
- Own and maintain the product roadmap, aligning with global product teams
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring high-quality product outcomes
- Manage and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring clarity and readiness for development
- Support development teams through planning, user story creation, and requirements clarification
- Monitor industry trends and shape product direction accordingly
- Drive product performance and adoption through KPIs and data-driven decision-making
- Ensure effective communication, stakeholder alignment, resolution of dependencies, and blocking issues
- Oversee release documentation and continuous process improvements
Success Indicators
- Delivery of high-quality software meeting customer expectations
- Strong customer satisfaction and minimal defects or rework
- Clear, well-defined requirements and prioritized backlog
- Effective communication of product roadmap and priorities
- Timely resolution of issues and adherence to processes and quality standards
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong product management and business analysis expertise
- Experience with product roadmaps and software platforms (Android preferred)
- Familiarity with Jira or similar tools
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of APEX and NERPay products
- Experience in the payments industry
- Familiar with working with Agile teams
