Intuit is searching for a "Senior Development Manager" for the QuickBooks Payroll- Product Development team (Small Business and Self Employed Group), a billion dollar product line within Intuit working towards becoming an "AI-drivenexpert platform."
The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, business acumen, and a passion for creating delightful customer experiences. They will lead cross-functional teams, influence executives and engineers, and drive the technical product direction, building an open, trusted, and easy-to-build-on platform with partners to solve the most pressing customer problems and deliver awesome experiences.
Responsibilities
- Seeking an engineering leader with at least 12+ years of industry experience and a track record of leading high performing teams for a minimum of two years.
- The ideal candidate will be hands-on, able to work with highly motivated and talented engineers, and have a passion for agile and lean thinking, velocity, engineering, and operational excellence.
- Experience working with modern applications from front-end to database is essential and requires solid knowledge of Enterprise Java platform, Spring Framework, ReactJS, Amazon Web Services, and Kubernetes-based container deployments.
- Must have comprehensive knowledge in software development fundamentals (Data Structures, algorithms, problem-solving, OO Design, and system architecture) with a DevOps mindset and specialize in public cloud deployments.
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with multiple stakeholders to achieve common outcomes with high stakes at company level.
- Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset to understand the overall internal and external business landscape.
- Drives strategic technology/engine reuse, technology and architecture health, and development process improvement.
- An experienced leader who matches goals with customer requirements and product roadmap. Capable of empowering people and cultivating product technology visions, innovative solutions, and effective engineering teams.
