Job Overview
The Tech 4 Intuit (t4i) Workday Technology team is looking for a highly skilled Principal Technical Product Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both technical and functional aspects of Workday, and will leverage deep technical knowledge, analytical capabilities, solution architecture skills, and process expertise to drive the design and implementation of Workday solutions that meet the organization's business needs.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert on Workday capabilities by leveraging deep technical and analytical capabilities, the creativity of a solution architect, and the process orientation of a functional expert.
- Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices and partner with functional, engineering teams, and stakeholders to design Workday solutions ensuring all workstreams are cohesive and cross-functional/technical impacts are considered and mitigated.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during all phases of the implementation lifecycle and an ongoing basis, ensuring durable solutions and high data quality.
- Ensure implemented technology meets the transactional, reporting, and analytical needs of our businesses. As appropriate, work with data engineering teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of data in the workforce data lake.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Stay current with Workday releases and updates, evaluating new features and functionality for potential adoption.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience implementing and supporting Workday’s suite of applications and technologies.
- Experience as a technical lead on multiple full life-cycle implementations of Workday.
- Experience cross delivering on one or more of the following Workday HCM modules: Core HR, Time & Labor, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Management, Absence Management, Prism Analytics.
- Workday certification(s) preferred, including Prism, Extend and Integration certifications.
- Strong knowledge of the Workday Extend platform and related technologies such as Java, XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, J2EE, Javascript, Python, etc.
- Hands-on experience in designing, building, testing, implementing, and maintaining
- Extend apps using IntelliJ or App Builder and solutions to address complex business and technical issues.
- Deep knowledge of Workday architecture, configuration, customization, integration, reporting, and testing methodologies and tools.
- At least 5 years of experience in Workday Integration development including Workday Studio, Cloud Connect, Enterprise Interface Builder, Document Transformation, Custom Integrations, and other Workday tools.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Reporting, Integration, Business Processes, and Security Frameworks.
- Proven ability to design and implement complex Workday solutions that meet business requirements.
- Demonstrated curiosity and passion in learning and understanding technology & software. AI & ML experience in product offerings/experiences a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.
- Executive presence to interact with and present to key stakeholders across the business.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well through ambiguity, confidence in making tough calls and leading through adversity with a sharp focus on the eventual right outcomes.
- Track record delivering innovative, user focused solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent relevant experience.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $226,000 - $305,500, Bay Area California $226,500 - 307,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
