We have an exciting opportunity to define how we use analytics to transform customer experiences, accelerate business growth, and optimize our growth efforts. We are looking for a data-driven individual with excellent analytical skills, and an independent self-starter with experience in providing customer insights by mining large data sets, building dashboards to surface insights to business stakeholders, working closely with business development, and assisting with sales motion activities.

We are looking for a Staff Business Data Analyst who is intellectually curious, extremely self-driven, and has a proven track record of leading analytics support for critical or high-growth business areas. The ideal candidate will also have a passion for operationalizing data-driven insights into action, influencing the velocity and quality of learnings, and demonstrating a problem-solving and extreme ownership mindset.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire cycle of iterative big data exploration, data cleansing, insight generation/visualization, and action planning.
- Develop and implement a systematic and iterative approach to structure, extract, analyze, validate, and account for data lineage and customer preferences.
- Provide recommendations to business leaders and stakeholders on the best way to utilize available data for various business partnership opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create analytics and reporting tools critical to automated self-service.
- Collects, analyzes, and models available data across the business and build a broad understanding of the GBSG customers and relevant customer segments.
- Use expertise and independent judgment when working with peers, data engineers, database managers, data analysts, and partners.
- Maintain data integrity, confidentiality, and availability by strictly adhering to data stewardship principles and guidelines.
- Effectively respond to unexpected plan changes and prioritize for the best outcomes, fostering a culture of high-quality output and a growth mindset.
Qualifications
- Over 8 years of experience in product, business, and customer experience analytics, preferably in a B2B context.
- Proficient in customer segmentation, data enrichment, and personalization at scale using various tools and technologies.
- Highly skilled in SQL, Tableau, familiar with Databricks, and AWS ecosystem; knowledge of programming languages (Python, R) and machine learning model deployment preferred.
- Ability to transform data into compelling stories, educating and influencing stakeholders to inspire action.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of providing end-to-end quantitative solutions to business problems.
- Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet key deadlines.
- Proactive learner with excellent communication skills, effective with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Holds a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Statistics, Data Analytics); Master's Degree preferred, with strong organizational and time management skills. Equivalent experience will be considered.
