Job Overview
Intuit’s Identity team is looking for a Senior Product Designer who is excited to create customer and developer experiences and build a vision around platform capabilities at Intuit. This role requires a dynamic individual who is comfortable delivering in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, with a strong ability to go deep into the details and step back and connect the dots for a more strategic perspective.
Responsibilities
- Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web & mobile platforms
- Masterful storyteller, able to influence a broad audience by visualizing ideas and concepts for internal leaders, partners and customers
- Bring a bold vision and design strategy to life across multiple areas in the ecosystem. Can connect the dots across multiple strategies and initiatives to make the largest impact.
- Turn visions into concepts, and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite complexity of the system
- Deliver User Experience visions, specifications, wireframes and prototypes
- Use facilitative leadership skills to drive the best outcome for multiple stakeholders across a matrices organization, resulting in others learning from you, and inspiring others to want to work with you
- Design components and patterns in close collaboration with brand, product design teams, and business requirements
- Assist in defining our company-wide design system for Generative AI
- Advocate for design system adoption throughout teams, acting as a subject matter expert to other designers and developers implementing our design direction.
- Facilitate strong cross-functional partnerships that bridge design and development and ensure cohesion across design and code implementation
- Work across business units to define and improve collaboration and processes that enable IDX to deliver with speed and quality
- Surface opportunities to improve processes, deliverables, and customer experiences
- Balance long term considerations with continuously shipping, iterating, and evolving the design system
Qualifications
- Four-year degree in Human-Computer Interaction, graphic design, or other relevant field or equivalent work experience. Graduate degree a plus
- 7+ years of interface design experience in delivering high-volume, high-profile or award-winning products, across multiple platforms
- Expert knowledge and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes while working collaboratively with customers, along with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and user research. Seasoned in Agile development processes
- Experience working in technically complex initiatives and can seamlessly marry user experiences with technical architecture.
- Deep knowledge of user experience methods, innovation, ideation, storytelling, prototyping, design frameworks, concept visualization, problem-framing skills and design principles
- Proven track record in setting a vision for great customer experiences, inspiring others to get behind the vision, and ultimately delivering products and services that are known for their delightful experience and ease of use
- Exemplary ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across teams/groups/functions through facilitative leadership to deliver great results and to "raise the bar" continually as an effective leader of positive change
- Organized, self-directed, efficient and able to manage multiple and complex projects in a timely manner
- A passion for creating products that resonate on an emotional level

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $148500-201000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
