Come join the A2D (AI, Analytics, and Data) Product Management Team as a Staff Product Manager for Document Understanding AI at Intuit.
The AI Foundation team in A2D provides AI development teams across Intuit the foundational AI capabilities for all AI-native experiences in Intuit’s products - QuickBooks, MailChimp, Turbo Tax, and Credit Karma. Document Understanding is one of the most essential AI capabilities that has broad applications across a wide range of user experiences, handling a wide range of documents uploaded to the Intuit ecosystem.
We are looking for a highly technical product manager for the Document Understanding capability that extracts structured data from unstructured documents. You will be responsible for the technical roadmap that drastically scales and advances such capability in Intuit’s products, applying various AI and generative AI techniques from computer vision to multi-modal LLMs. You will work with organizations across Intuit to understand their use cases, requirements and provide them with highly scalable platform solutions with speed.
Responsibilities
- Define the vision, strategy, roadmap, objective, key results and success metrics for Document Understanding AI capability.
- Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to guide product development, analyze trade-offs, prioritize areas of technical investments, and deliver a seamless end to end experience for Intuit customers as well as Intuit developers.
- Work closely with customers and stakeholders in business units to not only ensure the platform capability meets requirements, but also push the boundary on how document understanding can be done for Intuit’s users.
- As the subject matter expert, follow and assess industry innovations and trends, drive adoption of SoTA technologies where appropriate.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management or equivalent experience for technical platform products in a fast paced, rapidly evolving environment.
- High degree of technical understanding to be able to closely collaborate engineering and data science leaders in both strategic and tactical discussions.
- Strong understanding of AI workflow and techniques, especially in computer vision and multi-modal LLM training/fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and evaluations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present technical content to non-technical audiences and work with cross-functional teams to drive real business impact.
- Proven track record of working effectively with engineers, data scientists, other product managers, AI practitioners, executives and external vendors, with demonstrated leadership to inspire and influence beyond your immediate organization.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in leveraging data to make informed product decisions.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus. Familiarity with Intuit’s product offerings is a plus.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $172,500 - $233,000, Bay Area California $177,000-239,500, Southern California $161,500-218,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
