Job Overview
Intuit Global Business Services (GBS) is transforming Source-to-Report processes and technology to create a seamless digital procurement experience for employees, enhance performance in our strategic partners, and amplify value delivered for One Intuit. As we adapt to the demands of digitally-enabled users seeking highly personalized experiences, the Catalog Staff Program Manager will play a pivotal role leading the overall strategy and execution to modernize Intuit’s catalog program, including the people, process, and technology transformation of our catalog strategy and infrastructure that enables employees to be successful ordering the products and services they need while working in hybrid, streamlines low risk purchasing, and optimizes stakeholder experiences.
The Catalog Staff Program Manager will serve as a strategic leader and steward, requiring strong business acumen and knowledge of the procurement function and spend management, with experience operationalizing processes and features in solutions such as Coupa and Amazon, to effectively streamline and automate processes, bring best practices to bear based on internal and external insights, and harness voice of employee to shape the program for customer benefit. Key responsibilities include developing and managing the overall operational and organizational health of catalogs at Intuit, setting and executing against the transformation roadmap, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to draw on synergies across the Intuit ecosystem to take full advantage of AI-assisted experiences, preferred partners and standards, and diversity and sustainability initiatives across the catalog automation landscape. For Intuit's catalog program, operational leadership demands a proactive self-starter capable of driving change. The outcomes significantly impact crucial corporate-level objectives, influencing various business units and functional groups within Intuit.
Responsibilities
Leadership and Strategy:
- Cultivates and coordinates relationships with People & Places, Technology for Intuit, and Finance stakeholders, with ability to interact with senior leaders to provide strategic guidance or support decision-making.
- Collaborates across Intuit to leverage resources and knowledge to solve problems and achieve results.
- Adept at focusing around a shared vision and critical few priorities; role-models execution with velocity, agility, and excellence.
- Develops and executes the vision for a best-in-class catalog program, keeping the customer experience at the forefront while seeking automation and AI-assisted solutions as velocity drivers. Develops the plan, operational roadmap, and goals in service to that vision.
- Uses previous experience leading the modernization of catalog buying to bring best practices to bear at Intuit.
- Partners with international teams to ensure globally compliant and locally relevant policies.
- Makes pivotal decisions that necessitate collaboration, engagement, and accountability with business and technical leaders, as well as executives across the organization.
Catalog Leadership:
- Responsible for the development, optimization, scaling, and management of global purchasing e-catalogs within Coupa, streamlining procurement processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manages catalog content for accuracy and consistency, ensuring that product information, pricing, and availability are up-to-date and aligned with both supplier agreements and purchasing standards at Intuit.
- Ensures adherence to purchasing compliance requirements, fostering a culture of ethical and responsible spending within the organization.
- Conducts audits of Purchase Order (PO) Employee Gift and Self-Approval purchases, identifying potential risks, ensuring compliance with company policies, and preventing unauthorized expenditures.
- Reports Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Climate Pledge Friendly (CPF) spending trends in partnership with GBS Supplier Diversity & Sustainability, providing valuable insights into supplier performance and alignment with organizational values.
- Collaborates with GBS Change Management to drive catalog adoption, communicating changes to stakeholders to promote seamless transitions and create awareness for delightful employee experiences.
- Troubleshoots technical catalog procurement issues by analyzing root causes, identifying solutions, and implementing corrective measures to maintain the integrity of our systems.
- Assists in resolving Procure to Pay (P2P) and GBS Connect escalations, addressing issues swiftly and providing solutions to facilitate smooth business operations.
People Management:
- Manages 1 direct report (contingent worker)

- Proficient in collaboration and productivity systems such as Microsoft Applications, Google Drive, Salesforce, Smartsheet, and Slack
Qualifications:
- 8+ years industry expertise with excellent Program Management skills, including relevant experience leading a global catalog program and managing suppliers
- Strong knowledge of the catalog industry, supplier operations, and source selections
- Customer-focused with strong communication, coordination, and planning skills
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to make recommendations to senior leadership based on data
- Ability to apply judgment to balance policy with achievement of business objectives and user experience
- Ability to influence and gain alignment with others to change the thinking
- Experience with catalog technology and tools, including e-procurement platforms
- Availability to directly support and interact with multiple international business units
- Culturally aware; experience communicating with a global audience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or other quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
- Experience working in the High-Tech or Financial Services sector preferred
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $137,500 - 186,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
