Job Overview

Intuit is looking for a highly passionate, talented and aspiring individual to fill a key position as Partner Development Marketing Manager (Staff Business Development Manager) for the Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG). The Marketing Alliances Partnerships team is responsible for managing relationships with external companies and developing new marketing partnerships that allow us to enable and accelerate growth of new small businesses into the GBSG ecosystem.

The ideal candidate for this role will have 7+ years of experience in business development and partner management, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to build relationships both internally and externally. The BD partnerships manager is responsible for managing complex relationships with Partners in the United States, driving new opportunities aligned with our priorities and expanding relationships to maximize the value of the existing relationships. Work closely with the Strategic Partner teams within GBSG to maintain end to end experience across Intuit as a single point of contact and conduct Business Review with key partners.

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage and grow relationships with existing and future strategic partners for Small and Medium businesses
  • Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems and delivering an experience so profound that Partners love working with Intuit and in return will actively recommend our products and services.
  • Understand customer and partner needs to better solve user pain-points and identify trends and market opportunities
  • Understanding inner-workings of the Partner’s marketing and channels to drive our joint business
  • Negotiate comprehensive Go-To-Market plans
  • Work closely with GBSG stakeholders to drive contract negotiations with new and existing partners in close collaboration with cross functional team members
  • Build relationships with QuickBooks ecosystem stakeholders and cross-functional teams including product, engineering, design, legal, compliance, finance, sales, marketing, care and operations teams
  • Inform, influence, support, and execute on our priorities
  • Track, analyze, and communicate key metrics to senior leaders

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $157,000-212,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years related experience in partnerships management or business development
  • Demonstrate strategic and creative thinking, quantitative and analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong cross functional collaboration and relationship building as well as influencing and communication skills (written, verbal and visual)
  • Ability to contribute to data-backed decisions to help inform the strategy
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with a high level of comfort escalating and presenting to senior management when appropriate
  • Creative and innovative problem solver with a strong ability to execute and deliver bottom line results
  • Manages multiple projects, tracks performance and recommends optimization strategies to deliver business results
  • Works and influences cross functionally with marketing, product, analytics, engineering, sales and customer success teams to inform and shape the product roadmap
  • Excellent project management ability
  • Must possess basic computer skills including MS Office Suite, G Suite and SalesForce
  • Bachelors preferred or years of equivalent experience
