We are seeking a dynamic and experienced communicator to join the internal and executive communications function for Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group (“GBSG”). Reporting to the Director, GBSG Internal and Executive Communications, the person in this role will be responsible for working in concert with our People and Places (HR), Brand Experience, and other teams across Intuit to deliver employee experiences and communications that connect teams to one another, to customers, and create a deep understanding of the company’s mission, business objectives, and values.
As Principal, Execution Communications, you will provide strategic communications counsel for at least two executive leaders and be the driver for change communications in close partnership with our People and Places colleagues.
Additionally, you will ensure we are weaving customer-centered storytelling into all we do, that key messages and content are brand appropriate and presented in a simple and elegant manner, and that we are defining the purpose of each communications channel and directing audiences to them seamlessly. The ability to self-navigate a highly matrixed organization by managing up, down and across teams and leading through influence while also demonstrating a high degree of business acumen, emotional intelligence and discretion is required.
To be successful in this role, this critical hire also will have a proven track record of creating and executing multi-channel communications programs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment driving results. You will have had experience delivering end-to-end programs in support of employee alignment and engagement. You are highly motivated and organized, conscientious, and detail-oriented – a nimble self-starter who takes the initiative in executing big and small ideas and solving problems using innovative and dynamic communications strategies and platforms. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent writing skills, deep business acumen, and an understanding of relevant technology and industry topics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Lead a cross-company comms team aligned to delivering communications outcomes for the organizations you support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand communication needs and objectives and provide coaching and support on effective communication techniques and best practices.
- Manage the editorial calendar and coordinate content distribution across multiple channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, partners, and external audiences.
- Facilitate two-way communication to gather feedback and address concerns.
- Lead and manage communications projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and internal teams to execute communication campaigns effectively.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of communication initiatives using data-driven insights.
- Prepare regular reports on communication metrics and make data-informed recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure consistency of messages across all audiences and channels.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $184,500 - 249,500, Southern California $174,000 - 235,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of proven experience in corporate / executive communications.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
- Ability to think strategically and develop creative content ideas
- Proficiency in digital communication platforms and tools.
- Analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders.
