Job Overview
Come join the One Intuit Notification Platform as a Senior Software Engineer Front End. OINP is used across Intuit products like TurboTax, QuickBooks etc to author and deliver notifications across Email, SMS, Push and In-App notifications. The mission of this team is to send communications to the right customer at the right time and with guaranteed delivery. We are also looking toward making out communication platform smarter by leveraging GenAI for areas such as security and fraud control, notification authoring and analytics.
Responsibilities
- Developing web, software, mobile apps, prototypes, or proofs of concepts (POCâs)
- Leading the gathering of functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning
- Generate technical documentation and to communicate architectural and design options, and educate development teams and business users
- Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
- Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams including product management, QA/QE, various product lines, and/or business units to drive forward results
- Demonstrate a passion for developing well architected, elegant, web and/or mobile apps
Qualifications
- 6-8 years experience designing and developing web, software, or mobile applications
- Strong leadership experience: Leading meetings, presenting, technical go to person, and cross-functional leader
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
- Expertise with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Excellent communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Expertise in the Software design/architecture process
- Expertise with unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Strong foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design optimized for mobile platform
- Solid coding practices including good design documentation, unit testing, continuous integration, and source control (GIT) and peer code-reviews.
