Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist that is passionate about building reusable tools and solutions to help generate product insights. In this role, you’ll build analytics tools using a combination of python, R, SQL, and enterprise LLM tools to standardize and simplify how analysts look for product insights.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on how to best utilize available data/tools to accelerate learnings
- Use product expertise and independent judgment to conduct your own research. Uncover common analytics pain points and collaborate with peers, data engineers, database managers, and business analysts to design an end-to-end solution that can help improve insight extraction from complex data
- Manage the entire cycle of building a scalable data/insight product, including hypothesis formulation, solution development, data cleansing, testing, and insight generation/visualization
- Support product launch learnings using causal inference methodologies, including, but not limited to, randomized control trials, difference in difference, propensity score matching, etc.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in product, business, and customer experience analytics, with hands-on experience in machine learning, using LLM tools, or creating reusable python packages
- Proficient in building and maintaining data marts/data layers through connecting data with business use cases. This includes, but not limited to, various types of data such as logs, clickstream, product usage, profiling, and other forms of data that will help paint a complete picture of our customers
- Experienced in causal inference techniques and experimentation to translate and connect customer usage behavior with business outcomes
- Skilled in SQL, Python, PySpark, Tableau, Databricks, and AWS
- Ability to transform data and insights into compelling stories to educate and influence stakeholders to inspire action.
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of researching and providing end-to-end quantitative solutions to business problems.
- Excellent communication skills that can speak to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $153,500-208,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
