Job Overview
Intuit’s Platform and Development Xceleration Group (PDX) is seeking a Sr. Staff Technical Program Manager to join our Identity Platform organization. Intuit’s Identity Platform drives the sign up, sign in, authorization, and data compliance and protection capabilities for all of Intuit products. The platform is a durable and key strategic lever for our business.
We are looking for a passionate, results-oriented, and strategic technical program manager to define and deliver innovative platform solutions. The candidate should understand system design and platform architecture, thrive in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable with ambiguity, and drive customer outcomes across Intuit. The right candidate for this role is someone who has a strong technical, product and program background in an agile environment, is invigorated by working within a large, complex organization, and has superpower abilities to communicate and influence at all levels. She/He will have a relentless focus on the customer, use data to inform decision making, and will be strategically focused to build durable platform solutions for our most important customer problems
Responsibilities
- Drive and own Technical Program Management for Identity Platform initiatives with touch points around the globe.
- Manage a portfolio of programs aligned with one of the Identity Platform’s strategic capability domains, while partnering with the core leadership as a trusted advisor and enabler.
- Build trust and drive change on the most critical and complex programs across Intuit organizations & across geographies.
- Partner with the product delivery team to unblock/guide program teams’ delivery and operate smoothly.
- Develop a program structure and drive a program operating rhythm to bring together complex, cross-organizational teams.
- Drive creation of program roadmaps and execution plans across all phases of planning, development, and production readiness and launch.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in executive teams, product management & engineering, and various cross-functional teams to effectively drive towards program outcomes.
- Quickly and effectively, identify and clarify the critical issues and dependencies that need action and drive them through to closure.
- Communicate results clearly and in actionable form.
- Effectively balance business needs versus technical constraints.
- Communicate progress across the organization and at all levels; includes program status, risks, dependencies and change control.
- Partner with the leadership team to create an environment where the teams are recognized and feel encouraged to the point that they want to work on your program(s).
- Thrive in establishing order and clarity amongst ambiguity and chaos.
- Work well with others when conflicts arise, with the ability to influence others at all levels to work towards desired outcomes.
- Anticipate, recognize, and work through resistance or setbacks independently.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in platform organization is a plus.
- Proven experience driving organizational change.
- 10+ years of Program Management team leadership experience, including 8 or more years leading multiple complex technology-focused programs.
- Extensive experience driving programs across multiple business units with differing business requirements.
- Excellent leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment, and ability to influence at all levels.
- Exceptional ability to build strong relationships and leverage those relationships to influence across organizational boundaries.
- Outstanding communication skills appropriate for executive-level audiences visually communicating goals of program, relationship to business goals, and other relevant success criteria. Extensive experience in the same.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships across organizations in delivering the best outcome of complex programs.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineering teams on complex technology programs with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in product or customer identity and profile management a plus.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $177500-240000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
