Job Overview
At Intuit, the Mid-Market team is on a mission to help ensure customers can grow with us as their business grows. We will disrupt the small business mid-market (Big Bet 5), by transforming QuickBooks from a self-serve, DIY accounting tool for small businesses, to a sales-led, done-for-you suite of tools to power growing businesses. Delivering a sophisticated product that customers love is critical to our success.As a Senior Product Designer on Business Intelligence, you will lead the strategic vision, and execution of key features such as analytics, reports, etc. These capabilities will give business leaders like the CEO and CFO a constant understanding of what's happening in their business and the next best actions to take. We are looking for a strategic designer with strong interaction design skills and familiarity with designing with data.
Responsibilities
- Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web and mobile platforms
- Expert knowledge and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Solve customer problems by synthesizing behavioral information and imagining things as they might be, not as they are
- Take ideas and concepts, and visualize them in such that they are communicated effectively and compellingly for internal leaders, partners, and customers
- Conceptualize a broad spectrum of ideas and then narrow based on experimentation and customer research
- Directly responsible for delivering User Experience visions, UI specifi cations, wireframes, and prototypes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in interaction design, product design or related fi eld, preferably at a SaaS company
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant fi eld
- Experience with designing beautiful, easy to use data and analytics experiences, along with a strong portfolio showcasing these skills strongly preferred
- Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas and innovating to drive business results
- Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator with expertise conveying ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping
- Mastery of design tools such as Figma
