Job Overview
Come join the Intuit FinTech Platform as a Staff Software Engineer. Responsibilities
- Designs and implements advanced testing strategies, testing framework development and ensures architecture decision are driven by testability within the BU platform
- Ensure the highest standards for engineering design, implementation, and testing, promoting quality by collaborating with cross functional teams
- Accurately scope effort, identify risks and clearly communicate trade-offs with team members and other stakeholders
- Investigate production bugs and provide valuable insights to the core teams
- Pursue and resolve complex technical problems and share key learnings
- Stay aware of industry trends and make technology choices and strategic decisions
- Collaborate closely with peers, cross-functional teams and business units to define, prioritize, sequence and scope business and functional requirements and drive results forward for Intuit
Qualifications
- 10+ years of related experience with software development team, reliability or engineering excellence experience in Fintech with large-scale payment systems
- Experience with test automation: unit/integration/functional/e2e testing
- Solid and comfortable with backend or full stack coding and scripting: strong experience with Java/J2EE, Go, Python, REST, SOAP, JSON, preferred on e2e testing framework experience such as Playwright, Selenium or Cypress
- Solid AWS experience
- Skilled in software development lifecycle processes. Experience with SCRUM and Agile Development
- Knowledge of current trends and best practices in the modern SaaS technology landscape
- High adaptability and flexibility
- Work well under pressure

- Expertise in designing and implementing Quality standards, best practices (test plan/cases) are followed all throughout SDLC
- Advanced testing strategies, testing framework and e2e testing automation development and ensures architecture decision are driven by testability
- Partners across teams to deliver advanced test frameworks and quality tooling / capabilities
- Documenting and articulating complicated defects, thereby aiding development teams in swiftly understanding and rectifying software issues
- Enhances test coverage including unit tests, end-to-end tests, and integration tests to maintain production system robustness.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium or Cypress
- Promote quality by collaborating with cross functional teams
