Job Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to support TurboTax Live, our tax preparation portfolio that connects customers with experts. TurboTax Live is an engine for business growth with a 5-year revenue CAGR of +38%. The analyst will partner deeply with Product, Analytics, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to plan for and deliver against key targets and outcomes for the upcoming tax season. We are looking for an analyst with a proven record of delivering data-driven insights with urgency, crafting powerful messages that drive change, and demonstrating deep customer empathy.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning: Be a trusted advisor to the TurboTax Live leadership team to develop and refine our long-term strategic plans, proactively highlighting risk and opportunities related to business growth and driving optimal investment decisions through data-driven insights and business modeling expertise
  • Data-driven insights: Drive various analyses that deliver data-driven insights in a coherent and structured manner to promote decision making and business outcomes that accelerate our growth trajectory
  • Operational excellence: Partner with the Product, Analytics, and Marketing partners to develop and monitor key performance indicators to drive timely insights and decision-making to achieve our strategic and financial plans.
  • Modeling: Work with partners to create financial models to analyze complex business scenarios that drive and inform our go-to-market strategy
  • Process improvement: Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement by streamlining, standardizing, and automating processes and reporting requirements

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Finance experience in corporate or strategic finance, preferably in consulting or banking
  • Demonstrated excellent strategic thought leadership skills, as well as strong financial and analytical skills
  • Experience transforming complex data to clear takeaways and insights
  • Ability to influence all levels of leadership to drive actions, behaviors, decisions, and business outcomes
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze complex business scenarios by building/improving financial models
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, simultaneously manage several priorities, and challenge the status quo to lead change and operational improvements
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in presenting to business partners with confidence, conviction, and credibility
  • BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics preferred or equivalent work experience

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Southern California $111,500 - 151,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at IntuitĀ®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
