Job Overview

Come join Intuit as a Principal Technical Program Manager!

Duties

Drive large, complex, cross-functional technical programs end-to-end, from strategy & planning to delivery, ensuring positive program outcomes.

Functional Domain

  • Tools and technologies the candidate will support: Workday (and Workday Extend), Avature, Radancy, related enterprise HR platforms. Also other enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow or Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead with Influence: Drive strategic programs in partnership with VP+ leaders, accelerating business outcomes and ensuring alignment with Intuit's overall
  2. Champion Change: Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication, effectively navigating organizational change and driving continuous
  3. Deliver Exceptional Results: Develop and execute high-quality program plans, utilizing data to track progress, mitigate risks, and communicate effectively with
  4. Build and Mentor: Define and implement program management best practices, coach and mentor other program managers, and contribute to the growth of the program management community.
  5. Master the Domain: Possess deep expertise in software development methodologies and apply them effectively to programs. Navigate the security, risk, and fraud landscape with confidence.

Qualifications

  1. Proven Leadership: 8+ years of experience leading and delivering complex, large-scale technical programs within a matrixed organization.
  2. Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of software development approaches, architecture, and Experience with Agile methodologies is highly desired.
  3. Strategic Thinker: Ability to analyze industry trends, understand Intuit's strategy, and make data-driven decisions that accelerate business outcomes.
  4. Exceptional Communicator: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, from individual contributors to senior
  5. Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to gather, analyze, and utilize data to assess program progress, identify risks, and drive decision-making. Familiarity with data analytics and AI/ML concepts is a plus.
  6. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Required Skills

  1. Create and maintain detailed project plans that outline project scope, technical vision, and both technical and non-technical requirements, while documenting precise program requirements, using Smartsheet, Google Docs & Sheets.
  2. Monitor program timelines, potential risks, and issues during all stages including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation using tools like JIRA, Smartsheet, Confluence, and Google Sheets to ensure adherence to milestones and deliverables, and to formulate a response strategy when necessary.
  3. Employ common tools like Slack, Microsoft Outlook, and Zoom for effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
  4. Leverage a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing strategies, QA, and change management best practices to accelerate the delivery of key programs.
  5. Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and critical dependencies.
  6. Extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle so as to be able to anticipate potential issues and solutions that require Strong experience with E2E testing, UAT, and regression testing.
