Job Overview

Come join the Virtual Expert Platform as a "Software Engineer 2". Virtual Expert platform will provide a set of capabilities that include, Chat, Telephony, Video, co-browsing, appointments, secure document sharing and storage, Intelligent routing and matching that allows our customers and experts to seamlessly collaborate with the highest level of trust, ease of usage, world class availability and quality, flexibility and have an enjoyable experience as we help them Power towards their Prosperity.

Responsibilities

Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, project & test planning
Designing/developing software, web, mobile apps, prototypes or Proof of concepts (POC’s)
Applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems
Roughly 95% hands-on coding
Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results
Contribute to the design and architecture of the project
Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies
BS/MS in computer science or equivalent

Qualifications

Strong in Object Oriented Concepts and experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process
Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)
Solid Hands-On Android/Kotlin Experience
Strong Native Application Development skills
Strong in UI / UX
