Job Overview

Are you interested in developing platforms that are high scale and mission-critical? Do you want to shape the way thousands of engineers build and ship products at Intuit? The AppFabric organization powers all web and mobile apps development experience, runtime observability for Intuit applications. The team is building and driving critical mobile capabilities that power all mobile apps and runtime, runtime and rendering. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a massive impact on Intuit’s transformation into an AI-driven expert platform. Come join Intuit’s PDX Platform team as a Principal Engineer leading the AppFabric mobile team and shape the future of AI Native mobile development, runtime and observability.

Responsibilities

  • Thought Leadership - You will collaborate with other leaders at Intuit toinfluence and develop strategic direction, systems roadmap, and business andoperational processes by providing the required technical guidance.
  • Execution – Ability to drive multiple large-scale projects in parallel byproviding the required architectural guidance.
  • Hands-On – Be prepared to get hands-on and debug complex issues or createfully working POCs which teams can take forward.
  • Grow Talent – Groom the next generation of technical leaders in the group.
  • Speed as a Habit – Operate in a fast-moving environment, make quickdecisions, and execute fiercely to deliver outcomes.
  • Technical roadmap – Develop a 3-year technology vision for the capabilities.
  • Communication skills – Explain complex designs to both technical andnon-technical stakeholders and drive consensus.
  • Customer Obsession – Deep empathy for and staunch advocacy for thecustomer.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of overall experience with over 5+ years in a technical leadershiprole.
  • BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience building and operating large-scale, consumer-facing webapplications and services.
  • Passion for being a technology ambassador and coaching engineeringexcellence and software engineering craft to junior engineers.
  • Proficiency in mobile and mobile web frameworks & technologies includingthree of Swift, IOS, Objective C, Java, Android, mobile SDK development
  • Able to operate at highly varying levels of abstraction from business strategyto product strategy to high-level technical design to detailed technical designto implementation
  • Strong understanding of the Softwaredesign/architecture/data-backed-decision-making processes.
