Job Overview

Highly driven and results-oriented Account Manager responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with a portfolio of accounts. This role focuses on understanding client business needs, developing tailored solutions, and driving revenue growth through value based selling and proactive engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, along with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets within the mid-market and major account space.

Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 3 on-site client visits per client per year to review current programs and conduct analysis of current business processes.
  • Educate clients on the business benefits of Intuit Financial Services' products and services.
  • Prepare proposals and presentations for specific recommendations for programs, services, and products.
  • Generate revenue in assigned accounts by securing sales of add-on products deemed as strategic products and by creating and managing strategies to improve end-user adoption and bill pay penetration.
  • Negotiate pricing on renewals, products, and services both internally and externally.
  • Maintain an expertise on Intuit Financial Services' products and services by participation in official training programs as well as self-education on a continuing basis.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client while coordinating Intuit Financial Services resources required to service the clients and deliver products.
  • Serve as an escalation point for operational issues that must be resolved to avoid negatively impacting the relationship.
  • Attend conferences as required to network, establish and maintain relationships.
  • Represent Intuit Financial Services at trade shows.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with partners of mutual clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years experience in the financial services industry in a sales and/or account management role with demonstrated revenue quota achievement.
  • Superior communication skills to facilitate establishing executive level relationships with clients.
  • Prior experience in banking or credit union space - either as a practitioner or vendor to the industry.
  • Well versed in consultative, solutions-based selling.
  • Experience with relationship management or sales, including strong business acumen, strategic planning skills, and operations/escalation management.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple simultaneous projects in multiple customers.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $112,000 - $151,500, Colorado $89,500 - $121,000, Bay Area California $132,500-179,500, Southern California $114,000-154,500, Washington $94,000 - $127,000, Washington D.C. $89,500 - $121,000, Massachusetts $94,000 - $127,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at IntuitĀ®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
