Come join the Intuit Data Exchange (IDX) Document Comprehension team as part of the Intuit as a Senior Software Engineer. IDX Document Comprehension provides a platform across the org to extract all financial documents uploaded by user or imported from a financial institutes. We are looking for creative problem solvers with a passion for innovation to join our team and revolutionize the way the world does business.

Responsibilities

• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience• 6+ years working as a software engineer, ideally using Agile/Scrum• Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals and their practical application• Strong experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot & Reactive Framework and Web technologies. Python is plus to have.• An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)• Strong working knowledge of API development standards like REST/GraphQL, pagination, throttling, caching and routing mechanisms experience are strongly preferred.• Ability to learn quickly, pivot, visualize and own a feature end-to-end.• Strong end to end testing mindset, and working knowledge of Front-End and Back-End.• Experience working with AWS cloud.• Kubernetes/Container platforms based development.• Experience working with mature codebases• Expertise with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD).• "Self-starter" attitude and ability to make decisions independently.• Helpful, can-do attitude and a willingness to take ownership of problems.

Qualifications

• Roughly 85-95% of hands-on coding• Contribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs, andcode• Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-releasepatches• Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments• Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, QA/QE,various product lines, or business units to drive forward results• Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics• Passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customers• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies• The result-oriented mindset with an affinity for producing high-quality code• Have a customer-focused mindset• Building strong teams - set and evangelize vision, facilitative leadership, attract and retain key talent.
