Job Overview

The TPM group is responsible for delivering customer, business, and technology results for GBSG PD. They work across functions and technology groups within the company. This leader works with senior business and biz operations leaders within the business and partners across the company to bring to life the many outcomes both short and long. The leader and the team also drives the longer term transformation of the technology organization - particularly the future of GenAI/Code Assist based Product development processes.

GBSG PD organization owns and delivers the QuickBooks platform - which small and medium sized businesses across the globe use to run and grow their business. It is a growth business within Intuit - growing nearly 19% YoY - expanding upmarket and to international markets at a rapid pace. It is a platform at scale - processing 10s of millions of transactions per day, supporting 10M+ businesses and scaling rapidly to serve more customers.

We are looking for a strategic and organized leader with a track record of exception execution, passion for AI and innovation and data-driven optimization. As Director of Tech Program Management, you will lead a team within the GBSG PD organization, to achieve these goals.

Responsibilities

  • In this role, you will:

    • Define and drive the E2E execution of multiple big bets of the company ) Big Bets are 1-3 years transformational priorities for the entire company ) , while delivering in-year priorities on the existing platform.
    • Establish processes and work across multiple business leaders to build an inspiring 6-quarter roadmap and manage change effectively so engineers and team can always be working on the most-impactful innovation.
    • Establish processes and work across multiple technology organizations to deliver on the roadmaps on a consistent basis, with high quality and aggressive milestones
    • Leverage the team and build mechanism to continuously diagnose friction and work with leaders and teams to eliminate friction and increase velocity
    • Grow and develop your team to be a world-class engineering organization, foster velocity and innovation in everything we do.
    • Leading the transformation in your org and the TPM community to increase capabilities and experiences.
    • Identifying suitable AI technologies and data for specific customer problems.
    • Designing and implementing end-to-end solutions integrating AI.
    • Understanding the strengths and limitations of different AI technologies.
    • Drive organization transformation to reimagine software development lifecycle and processes to be GenAI/Code Assist and Agent enabled
    • A deep understanding of technology and product architectures is a must to be successful in this role

Learning and expertise

  • Demonstrated ability to understand end-to-end processes and come up to speed quickly on new business domains.
  • Ability to think broadly but also go deep when appropriate.
  • Experience with developing board-level content, including framing complex information into content that is simple to understand.
  • Ten or more years in program management, strategy, and consulting in the technology domain.
  • A broad understanding of technology and software development, either through a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or through equivalent practical experience.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $271,500.00 - 367,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
