Job Overview

Intuit’s Small Business payments team serves some of the most critical business needs of small businesses and their customers. Our user-facing applications are responsible for handling large volumes of transactions that provide significant revenue for our business. If you love having big goals, real world challenges, and making customers incredibly happy while fostering your obsessive need for perfect code and user experience, this is the job for you. Along with coding, you will be responsible for working with product managers, backend developers and designers on our agile team structure. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement new features and enhancements, contributing to our high-scale tools and services.
  • Mentor team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including product management, analysts, and data engineers.
  • Represent the team in technical discussions and architecture roundtables.
  • Develop well-architected, elegant software solutions with a passion for excellence.
  • Listen attentively to others' ideas while also advocating for what you believe is right.
  • Bring a fun and positive energy to the team

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional experience in SW development
  • Deep expertise and at least 5 years of experience writing in Java and modern frameworks
  • Strong hands-on proven experience in large-scale SW architecture and design in cloud distributed systems
  • Experience in solving high scale problems in production environments
  • Strong knowledge of cloud and devops technologies: K8S, CI/CD, AWS
  • Strong leadership experience, including leading meetings, presenting, serving as a technical go-to person, and being a cross-functional leader.
  • Business acumen, with strategic thinking and strategy development skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for your work and a desire to push boundaries.
  • Ability to adapt to different tech stack and tech stacks and technologies.
  • Understanding of AI principles and ability to leverage AI-powered tools or insights.
