Job Overview

The Fintech team serves some of the most critical business needs of small business and their customers. Come join this innovative and passionate team of engineers to help build the next generation of awesome products and experiences across multiple platforms using latest cutting edge technology.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an engineering team that builds and supports amazing customer-facing products across web and mobile that provide innovative solutions to challenging programming and design problems.
  • Guide a team in design and development of responsive web applications providing awesome user experiences in desktop and mobile devices. Guide mobile engineers in development of scalable native experiences in iOS and Android.
  • Hands-on development. Be able evaluate code with utmost attention to scalability, performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, QE/QA and other Intuit teams and business units to define, prioritize, sequence and scope business and functional requirements and drive results forward for Intuit.
  • Accurately scope effort, identify risks and clearly communicate trade-offs with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Stay aware of industry trends and make technology choices and strategic decisions. Subject matter expert on web and/or mobile technologies.
  • Mentor engineers on technology, process, people, and product skills.
  • Ship high quality products and features with an end-to-end mindset from conception to delivery and production support, owning specifications, quality, release deployments and monitoring of production health.
  • Build and lead high performing and collaborative teams with clear vision. Lead positive change, empowering people and fostering a culture of innovation.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of leading a web/mobile/full stack engineering team.
  • 10+ years of experience designing and developing consumer-facing applications on web and/ or mobile.
  • Knowledge of current technology trends and best practices
  • Knowledge of front-end architecture including performance, accessibility and usability.
  • Experience with the full stack of software development.
  • Expertise in Software Design and Architecture.
  • Scrum, Agile Process, Unit Testing & Test Driven Development.
  • Strong leadership, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Great business acumen with a passion to solve for the customer.

Nice to have: Payments and Banking domain knowledge.
