Company Overview

Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

The Consumer Platform (CP) team is transforming its Product Management function to drive innovation with velocity, customer-centricity, and data-informed strategic bets. Within CP, TurboTax is a >$4.5B business today, yet the opportunity still ahead of us is much larger. Although we deliver a category-leading online DIY tax software for nearly 40M filers, there are still 85M American consumers who spend too much time and money on inefficient and expensive tax prep services.

This Director role will lead our growth-focused “Traffic to Start” (T2S) product management team of approximately 10 PMs, including three managers. This team plays a critical role in creating compelling and clear experiences for our visitors that build confidence and encourage prospective customers to start their taxes with TurboTax. With our tens of millions of customers representing a diverse range of tax knowledge and complexity, our landing pages and onboarding experiences adapt to their needs based on ML-driven personalization. In addition to our core TurboTax brand, this team is responsible for optimizing co-branded experiences for our CreditKarma members.

This Director will be responsible for setting the vision and strategy, prioritizing opportunities, and articulating a clear execution path for T2S Growth. The Director will need to partner closely with and influence multiple internal organizations including our post-start PM team, AI engineering, Go to Market Technology, Data Science, Marketing, Finance, Customer Success, and platform teams

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product vision, strategy, and high level roadmaps that will enable us to achieve our customer and business objectives.
  • Partner across all functions (Product, Design, Engineering, Data Science, Customer Success, Marketing, Finance) to deliver against defined program financial targets and experience improvements.
  • Build a high-performance team and culture. Attract great talent and lead, develop, and inspire the team to deliver industry-leading results.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years designing and delivering world-class digital products.
  • 5+ years experience leading PM teams, including 3+ years leading managers (multi-level teams)
  • Strong track record of owning revenue outcomes and delivering industry leading growth
  • Experience across multiple points in the product lifecycle: successfully introducing new offerings, scaling offerings that have product market fit, and driving sustained growth from mature products and services.
  • Deep customer obsession and strong track record delivering unparalleled customer benefit
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels
  • Capable of crafting a vision, decomposing it into bite-size milestones, and leading execution
  • Adept at leading cross-functional teams to execute on complex initiatives.
  • Deeply curious and data-driven. Develops and defends strong points-of-view with data, analytics and the voice of the customer. Able to self-serve with analytics tools and build forecast models.
