Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Senior Staff Product Manager to lead core accountant experiences. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the accountant industry, driving innovation and growth for our most important partners and their customers.

In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams—including product managers, designers, engineers, service experts, and business leaders—to design, deliver, and optimize market-leading customer experiences. You will own the product vision, strategy, and execution for how accountants interact with our full portfolio of offerings, ultimately driving customer success and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Define, articulate, and communicate a bold and compelling product vision for QuickBooks Live's Expert experience and communications.
  • Customer Focus: Develop deep customer empathy through immersion in customer, Expert, and Accountant research Transform insights into a roadmap of innovative solutions that address key customer pain points and drive business outcomes.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Foster strong cross-functional partnerships to align product strategies with broader business objectives. Work closely with other QuickBooks product teams who are focused on shared experiences and VEP partners building the Expert platform.
  • Execution Excellence: Lead the scoping, planning, and delivery of product initiatives in collaboration with internal teams. Implement agile methodologies to deliver timely, high-quality product releases.
  • Innovation and Experimentation: Cultivate a culture of learning and experimentation Leverage data analytics, customer insights, and A/B testing to inform product decisions and continuously iterate on product offerings.
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of product managers. Foster a culture of empathy, accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficacy of product initiatives. Report on business performance and make data-driven adjustments as necessary.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with key internal and external stakeholders, including service delivery partners and customer success teams, to ensure alignment and drive broad adoption of new product features.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years in product management with a proven track record of launching and scaling innovative products, ideally in technology-driven, AI-powered service environments.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive transformational change Experience in managing high-performing, engaged product teams.
  • Platform Mindset: Operates with a platform mindset, ensures solutions are designed and implemented in a way that can scale across the full portfolio.
  • Customer Centricity: Passionate about understanding customer needs and translating them into actionable product strategies Track record of delivering customer-backed solutions.
  • Operational Excellence: Strong operational acumen with the ability to implement processes that drive efficiency and scale Experience in navigating high levels of ambiguity and visibility.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire at all organizational levels.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of technical concepts, platform requirements, and the ability to work closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is New York $195,000 - $264,000, Colorado $169,500 - $229,000, Bay Area California $196,500 - 266,000, Southern California $179,000 - 242,500, Washington $178,000 - $240,500, Washington D.C. $169,500 - $229,000, Massachusetts $178,000 - $240,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location.
