This individual will help the QuickBooks marketing team with in-season execution related to strategy. This includes things like pulling and analyzing data and customer research.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and participate in customer research sessions.
  • Create and share summaries of customer research.
  • Pull data and develop data-backed insights that will help drive strategy.
  • Collaborate with other team members and cross-functional colleagues (eg. product management, analytics, XD).
  • Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas.
  • Monitor competitor activities; create summary presentations.
  • Help organize virtual tax events in collaboration with external partners.
  • Get ready to learn from the best in-class marketers and take your skills to the next level!
  • Assist with submitting Search Engine Optimization (SEO) related tickets for the web ops team to execute against
  • Oversee progress of each SEO ticket and lead the efforts of completing them on time

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.
  • A passion for understanding customer needs and market trends through research and analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or similar) and an eagerness to learn new software.
  • Experience with or interest in digital marketing concepts, particularly SEO.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing to shared goals.
  • Curiosity and a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organization and project management skills
  • Great communication skills, and able to navigate across multiple teams

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Actively enrolled in a post-secondary education program.
  • A graduation date at least 4 months after the co-op term ends.
  • Highly detail oriented and pay close attention to the specifics of problems, questions, and projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Available for 8 month co-op work term
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for the duration of the co-op term, without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Ability to work in our Toronto office a minimum of 3 days per week.
