As a Mobile Engineering Manager on the Intuit Data Exchange team, you'll have the exciting opportunity to lead a highly talented and motivated team. Together, you will build cutting-edge, highly dynamic, and personalizable experiences, leveraging the power of data and AI to facilitate effortless data exchange. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the development of robust, high-quality connection experiences that are delightful and frictionless for users, ultimately boosting connection success rates and establishing a powerful platform for the AI revolution in fintech. This role requires a visionary who aligns engineering innovation with business objectives and who will inspire a culture of excellence to solidify Intuit’s leadership in financial technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of talented iOS and Android engineers to foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback to help the team members grow and learn.
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and other stakeholders to define and deliver impactful mobile experiences.
  • Keep a day-one mindset, challenge the existing and keep an open mindset in the team
  • Stay engrossed in the product, tech and architecture details to create a feasible development plan (in high quality)
  • Lead operational excellence to deliver highly available, mobile experiences with utmost attention to quality, security, and performance metrics
  • Manage risks and dependencies effectively, remove roadblocks, handle pivots and scope changes
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in mobile development.

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Bay Area California $213,500 - $288,500

This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in software engineering with a passion for mobile development
  • 5+ years of experience as an established technical leader with a proven track record of delivering high quality, customer-driven mobile experiences.
  • Demonstrated experience leading positive change, empowering and inspiring people, cultivating product technology visions and innovative solutions, and fostering effective engineering teams.
  • Adept at articulating the product vision and drive the future roadmap with strong business acumen
  • Experience with Agile development and methodologies and SaaS technologies
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Preferred - experience working with global teams.
  • Expertise in the Software design/architecture process
  • Strong understanding of iOS and Android development platforms and ecosystems.
  • Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java.
  • Experience with mobile architectures (MVVM, MVP , etc.) and design patterns.
  • Experience with mobile security best practices.
  • Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
