Join the SMB Ecosystem organization as a Manager 2 in the 3P Ecosystem Experiences team. We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Engineering Manager to lead our team focused on building cutting-edge integration patterns that embed our product experiences seamlessly into 3rd-party platforms while applying high operational and engineering excellence. This includes integrations with mega platforms as well as the incorporation of AI agents to drive innovative and intelligent experiences.

As a key leader in the 3P Ecosystem Experiences engineering organization, you will play a critical role in enabling our company’s growth and expansion through well-designed, scalable integration solutions. Your team’s work will be tightly aligned with our newly launched App Partner Program, emphasizing monetization, business impact, and outstanding user experiences. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Management, Design, Program Management, Data Analytics etc.), stakeholders, and teams within the broader organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and evolving integration patterns that embed our product experiences into external platforms.
• Drive the strategic incorporation of AI agents within these integrations to enhance automation, personalization, and value delivered to end customers.
• Collaborate closely with the 3rd-party partner program team to ensure alignment of engineering deliverables with partner needs and business goals.
• Own the technical roadmap and execution for integration patterns, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and support monetization efforts.
• Foster a culture of customer obsession, ensuring seamless, high-quality experiences that drive adoption and retention.
• Monitor and obsess over business metrics tied to integrations and monetization; use data-driven insights to prioritize work and measure success.
• Lead operational excellence to deliver highly available, scalable solutions with utmost attention to quality, security, and performance metrics.
• Partner with cross-functional teams — including Product, Design, Analytics, and Business Development — to deliver impactful outcomes.
• Work across the organization to build strong relationships to deliver on ambiguous and complex problems together.
• Mentor and grow engineering talent, promoting best practices, engineering excellence, and agile delivery.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience with at least 3+ years working as an established technical leader (manager) of software engineering teams that have successfully delivered impactful business solutions
• Proven experience managing software engineering teams focused on integrations, APIs, or platform partnerships.
• Strong understanding of embedding product experiences within external platforms, including mega platform ecosystems (e.g., cloud marketplaces, app stores, partner portals).
• Familiarity with AI agent technologies and their application to enhance product integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver technically robust solutions that enable monetization and business growth.
• Passion for driving seamless customer experiences and an obsession with key business metrics.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Track record of mentoring engineers and building high-velocity teams.
• Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with 3rd-party partner programs or partner ecosystems.
• AI technologies
• Background in SaaS platform integrations or B2B product embedding.
• Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics tools to inform engineering decisions.
