Company Overview

Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

Lighthouse is an executive-level partnership program designed to foster deep, collaborative relationships with Intuit’s top-tier enterprise customers—early adopters and innovators who actively engage with beta programs and provide strategic feedback. These customers represent the ideal user profile Intuit seeks to nurture to drive business growth, innovation, and transformation.

The program co-creates scalable solutions, codifies learnings, and enhances Intuit’s products, processes, and engagement models. Lighthouse customers collaborate to shape Intuit’s roadmap while serving as public advocates and references for Intuit’s offerings.

As a Lighthouse Sr Solutions Engineer, you will work directly with enterprise customers to deeply understand their business, deliver solutions tailored to their needs, and advocate relentlessly for their success across Intuit.

The Lighthouse Solutions Engineer bridges the gap between customer goals and Intuit’s capabilities, leveraging technical expertise and strategic thinking to design robust solutions. You will work primarily with enterprise-level customers, driving innovation within Intuit’s product ecosystem while incorporating creative external integrations to meet complex, sophisticated business needs.

Your role is equal parts technical strategist, trusted advisor, and customer advocate. You’ll apply your knowledge of enterprise workflows, integrations, and systems to deliver solutions that drive business impact, enable rapid adoption, and foster lasting customer trust.

The Lighthouse Solutions Engineer is a pivotal role in delivering extraordinary value to Intuit’s most strategic enterprise customers. By solving sophisticated challenges and advocating relentlessly for customer needs, you’ll help create a transformative partnership model that influences Intuit’s strategy, products, and processes. In this role, you’ll be central in enabling success for both our customers and Intuit’s future.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Enterprise-Level Solutions: Work intimately with enterprise customers to diagnose workflows, address pain points, and design scalable solutions that combine Intuit’s ecosystem with third-party applications.
  • Think Outside the Box: Deliver innovative solutions by blending Intuit’s products with creative external tools and methodologies, adapting to unique and complex customer scenarios.
  • Develop Enterprise Relationships: Build lasting, meaningful partnerships with Lighthouse customers by immersing yourself in their business needs, identifying opportunities, and establishing credibility as a trusted advisor.
  • Design Seamless Architectures: Provide customers with tailored architectural consultations, enabling them to maximize the value of Intuit’s APIs, integrations, and product suite.
  • Relentless Customer Advocacy: Bring the customer’s voice into Intuit’s strategy and decision-making by channeling feedback, success stories, and challenges to drive product improvements and innovation.
  • Drive Product Adoption: Develop training content, conduct workshops, and deliver actionable materials to empower customers and accelerate adoption of Intuit’s solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Product, Engineering, UX, Account Management, Sales, and Support) to prioritize customer feedback and resolve technical hurdles.
  • Shape Organizational Strategy: Influence Intuit’s product vision, strategy, and roadmap by infusing Voice of Customer (VoC), external conditions, and enterprise trends into decision-making processes.
  • Scale Program Impact: Contribute to the Lighthouse playbook and client-facing resources to ensure scalable outcomes for ongoing program success.
Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.

  • Product Ecosystem Strategy: Strong ability to design solutions within a defined product ecosystem while incorporating external tools, integrations, and APIs to address complex customer needs creatively.
  • Customer Obsession: Relentlessly empathetic approach to advocating for customer needs and delivering trusted, high-value solutions that drive their success.
  • Technical Acumen: Expertise in APIs, iPaaS, system integrations, and architectural workflows, with the ability to work across cloud platforms and software ecosystems.
  • Strategic Thinker: Creative mindset with a proven track record of thinking outside the box to provide unique solutions and succeed within technical constraints.
  • Solution Delivery: Demonstrated success scoping, designing, presenting, and deploying technical solutions for enterprise customers, including pilots, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and tailored implementations.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Ability to work cross-functionally with product teams, engineers, UX designers, and business partners to influence roadmaps and drive creative customer-centric solutions.
  • Communication and Relationship-Building: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of building trust with enterprise stakeholders, customers, and internal teams.
  • Self-Starter in Dynamic Environments: Proactive and self-managed, with experience delivering solutions in fast-paced startup-like environments where ambiguity is the norm.
