Job Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced and impactful Senior Engineering Manager to lead our distributed data platform. In this pivotal role, you'll leverage your 15+ years of experience to drive the development and operation of high-scale, low-latency data systems.
Responsibilities
A deep technical understanding of open-source data technologies is critical, including expertise with ClickHouse, S3, Trino, and Iceberg. Beyond technical leadership, you'll excel in people management, fostering a high-performing team and nurturing individual growth. Your robust operational mindset will be essential in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of our platforms. Furthermore, demonstrated experience working effectively with global stakeholders is key to success in this role.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree
-15+ years of experience with large platform companies with strong technical hands on experience.
-Proven ability to manage global stakeholders, lead high performorming teams, drive innovation in the data platform domain.
-Deep understanding of data engineering requirements in the context of Gen AI
-Strong operational rigour with a focus on data-driven metrics.
