Position Title: Director, Intuit & Mailchimp Academies

Reports to: Vice President, Intuit Assist & Expert Experiences

Overview

The Intuit Academy and the Mailchimp Academy are building the future of consumer and expert development — at scale - to deliver on Intuit’s strategy of an AI-driven Expert Platform that powers prosperity. As Director, Intuit Academy, you will lead the strategy, design, and execution of a hybrid ed-tech platform that serves two missions:

  1. With the Intuit Academy, to delight and empower our 50,000+ global experts to deliver awesome experiences for our customers
  2. With the Mailchimp Academy, to delight and empower our Mailchimp partners and Mailchimp consumers so that they can grow their businesses successfully.

This role sits at the intersection of learning innovation, AI enablement, product leadership, and talent transformation. You’ll lead a global team of strategists, designers, and content creators—working cross-functionally across Product, Service Delivery, Engineering, Analytics, and Talent – to build a platform that personalizes learning, accelerates readiness, and delivers measurable business impact. Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Intuit Academy: Set the vision and execution strategy for Intuit Academy as a global learning platform —aligning with enterprise growth goals and the future of work.
  • Mailchimp Academy: Reimagine our partner and customer academy to power the prosperity of consumers and businesses.
  • Lead a team of 30 FTEs and 50 contractors across product, content design, strategic learning consulting, innovation, and operations, driving scale and impact across multiple business units (e.g., TurboTax, ProTax, QuickBooks, Mailchimp).
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Service Delivery, Data & Analytics, and Talent to deliver seamless, personalized learning journeys tied to real-world outcomes.
  • Build learning programs to serve retail employees.
  • Drive the evolution of a skills-based organization—operationalizing taxonomy, proficiency standards, and adaptive assessments across roles and domains.
  • Build and scale an AI-powered learning infrastructure to drive speed, relevance, and accessibility of learning experiences.
  • Oversee the transformation of content development operations, including managed service provider strategy and integration with performance-focused product training teams.
  • Own delivery of learner experience and speed to Proficiency.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Deep experience and knowledge (min 15 years) of learning technologies, content & curriculum development, and delivery
  • Professional experience in learning strategy, ed-tech, product, and workforce transformation in a virtual and worldwide setting.
  • Experience building retail (brick & mortar) learning programs.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience designing or scaling learning platforms powered by AI, adaptive technology, or advanced content tools.
  • Understanding of skills-based development models, workforce enablement, and performance consulting.
  • Learner Behavior: Experience understanding modern learners and how learner behavior data influences content development and deployment

  • Business Driver: Demonstrated ability to lead and partner with cross-functional teams and operate autonomously, making complex decisions in situations of ambiguity and time pressure.
  • Results Driver: Track record of successfully managing multiple projects at once successfully. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, excel in a complex fast paced, team-oriented environment with rapidly evolving business demands.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible and demonstrates a willingness to learn along the way
  • Proven success leading large, cross-functional teams through change and innovation
