We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Director of Web Marketing to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our digital journeys across QuickBooks, Mailchimp, and Intuit Enterprise Suite websites. This includes building and optimizing our websites for both prospects and customers.

Your primary focus will be to own the entire website journey, from initial engagement through to new customer acquisition, achieving ambitious lead and customer growth goals, and driving conversion growth targets. You will own the marketing strategy, roadmap, and performance of our flagship websites to accelerate growth across Intuit’s Business Platform.

You will lead a cross-functional team encompassing strategy, UX/content, SEO, PM, PD, analytics, and website operations. Your mandate is to transform our web properties into high-performing growth engines that drive acquisition, cross-sell, and revenue, while upholding the highest standards for performance, accessibility, governance, and brand. To achieve this, you will develop and execute a strategic roadmap, ensuring all web activities contribute to making our websites high-performing marketing vehicles for brand awareness and demand generation.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Web Leadership: Own the multi-site web strategy and quarterly roadmap for QuickBooks.com, Mailchimp.com, and Intuit Enterprise Suite, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Customer Journey Optimization: Develop and implement high-converting web journeys and personalization strategies for prospects, customers, and partners. This includes reviewing and assessing content for effectiveness.
  • SEO and GEO Enhancement: Drive SEO and GEO optimization through site architecture, technical foundation, keyword support, and content. Collaborate with channel leads on technical health, information architecture, link strategy, and page quality.
  • Data-Driven Experience Improvement: Plan and execute data-driven testing to optimize and personalize web experiences, aiming to increase direct purchases and effective lead generation.
  • Operational Efficiency: Improve execution speed by streamlining processes, implementing automation, and integrating technologies to enhance the agility of the broader marketing team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a key cross-functional partner, influencing teams across Product Management, Engineering, Design, Analytics, Marketing Ops, and Product Marketing.
  • Requirement Prioritization: Evaluate and effectively prioritize web requirements from cross-functional GBSG teams to achieve business outcomes.
  • Budget and Vendor Management: Manage budgets, Statements of Work (SOWs), and performance for agencies and tooling. Evaluate and implement new vendors as needed.

Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience: 10+ years in web/digital growth for B2C, B2B SaaS/commerce, including 4+ years leading multi-disciplinary web teams in strategy, execution, experimentation, and analytics.
  • Proven Impact: Demonstrated ownership of large-scale web properties with measurable pipeline/revenue generation.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with enterprise CMS (headless or traditional), testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely/VWO/Target), analytics (GA4/Adobe + tag management), and SEO tools (Search Console, crawl, and rank tools).
  • Engineering Collaboration: Comfortable partnering with engineering on performance, releases, and technical SEO, with fluency in modern front-end practices and design systems.
  • Strategic Prioritization: Strong ability to prioritize and make trade-off decisions between multiple projects and competing organizational priorities.
  • Communication & Influence: Ability to communicate strategy, business cases, and roadmaps to influence and advocate within a complex, matrixed organization, and to analyze data and translate web findings clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrated success managing and mentoring high-performing teams across multiple offices and time zones, and building highly collaborative and productive relationships with cross-functional leaders.
