We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Marketing Manager and Event Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for hosting our experts weekly at our San Diego office and managing the logistics of their visits. The ideal candidate will have prior customer service and hospitality experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record in marketing or event management.

Responsibilities
Lead expert engagement activities in San Diego, including:
Hosting experts and ensuring a welcoming and professional experience
Creating a personalized experience for each expert
Supporting sessions, ensuring that events run smoothly and have been organized to the highest standards
Supporting other non Team Driven events that require expert engagement
Ability to understand expert roles, process and tools to be able to communicate and support effectively
Scheduling, coordination, and oversight of weekly events, including:
Ensuring the appropriate pre-work to understand study goals are complete
Acting as a liaison to product, research, and leadership teams
Coordinating with recruitment team for experts for in-person sessions
Coordinating and scheduling sessions with product and service teams

Booking and coordinating travel arrangements for experts including:
Hotel Reservations and relationship management with local hotel contacts
Flight reservations
Uber or Rental Car reservations
Manage scheduling, track feedback, and report out status and performance updates for the on-site program
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event outcomes
Coordinating with on site catering and food service teams to support expert visits
Ongoing communication with experts and support teams
Provide additional support to the Expert Experience & Insights team, including:
Support and moderate qualitative research
Collect and manage feedback, testimonials, insights, and VOE (voice of the expert)
Report out on ongoing expert insights and implications
Space and Event coordination and management
Managing the calendar for all necessary rooms within the space, including for events not hosted by EN team
Configuring and confirming all technology specifications for full space, each room, and each expert are operational prior to and during the experts visit

Managing full space to ‘event ready’ standards, including:

furniture
space and technology configuration

Relationship management with on-site support teams including:
Security
Executive Assistant Team
Event Planning
Facilities
Catering/Food Services
Janitorial (ABM)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in customer service, event planning, marketing or management, or customer data and insights
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Proficient with Google and/or Microsoft Office products (outlook, docs, spreadsheets)

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:
Southern California: $93,000 - $126,000
