Job Overview
This role is for a Program Manager on the Service Partner Team at Mailchimp. This team supports marketing agencies that sell Mailchimp services to their customers. The Program Manager will collaborate with stakeholders, lead strategic initiatives, design program structures, communicate progress, manage dependencies, foster relationships, and drive operational excellence within the Service Partner ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of program management experience, strong influencing and communication skills, and experience in an Agile/Scrum environment, with a focus on partner or service-oriented programs.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize programs and deliver maximum value to partners.
Lead and execute strategic initiatives, aligning teams with shared program goals.
Design effective program structures to ensure successful outcomes for the Service Partner team.
Develop and implement mechanisms for communicating portfolio progress, risks, and issues to key stakeholders.
Manage program dependencies, reporting, and leadership escalations.
Foster strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders (Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Data Science, Customer Success) relevant to the Service Partner team.
Drive operational excellence through process automation, data compilation, and performance reporting within the Service Partner ecosystem.
Qualifications
Over 5 years of experience in program management, overseeing multiple complex programs successfully, with a focus on partner or service-oriented programs.
Exceptional influencing skills, proven ability to collaborate in matrix environments, and build solid partnerships across organizations to deliver the best results in complex programs, particularly with external partners.
Outstanding communication skills tailored for executive-level audiences, and the ability to effectively communicate with marketing agencies and internal stakeholders.
Proven ability to rally teams around execution plans, articulate challenges and opportunities clearly, and align executive teams on program outcomes within a partner-centric model.
Experienced in driving program outcomes in an Agile/Scrum environment, balancing the need for date-driven business outcomes and prioritization-based outcomes, with an understanding of partner program dynamics.
