Job Overview

Join Intuit’sGenUX Mobileteam as aSenior Software Engineer – Android, where you’ll help shape how Intuit designs, builds, and delivers AI-powered experiences across our mobile applications. The GenUX platform powers all new AI experiences across Intuit’s web and mobile ecosystem. This role offers an opportunity to work on highly scalable, mission-critical systems that enable thousands of engineers to deliver seamless, intelligent experiences to customers worldwide.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications that enable AI-driven customer experiences.

  • Drive large-scale projects from inception to production with strong technical ownership and accountability.

  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and cross-functional engineering teams (web, backend, AI) to deliver cohesive platform experiences.

  • Mentor other engineers, contribute to design discussions, and promote engineering best practices.

  • Engage directly with stakeholders to ensure alignment, clarity, and effective delivery of key initiatives.

  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and scale mobile solutions to ensure high performance and reliability.

  • Contribute to defining and evolving the GenUX mobile architecture to support future AI and agentic capabilities.


Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Scienceor equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of Android development experience, building large-scale, consumer-facing applications.

  • Strong proficiency inKotlin,Jetpack Compose, and theAndroid SDK.

  • Proven experience insoftware design and architecturefor complex systems.

  • Hands-on experience withRESTful web servicesand backend integration.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work across teams and disciplines.

  • Familiarity withAI concepts, with a passion for integrating emerging technologies into mobile experiences.

  • Experience mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence.

  • Customer-centric mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
