Company Overview

Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

One out of every two small businesses fail within their first five years, most often due to running out of cash. Intuit QuickBooks is on a mission to provide small & medium-sized businesses access to all the tools they need to manage cashflow. We leverage the rich data inside QuickBooks to enable super-fast payments, payroll, bill pay, and access to capital. With Quickbooks, entrepreneurs never again have to worry about not making payroll or saying no to a business opportunity. That’s how we power prosperity around the world.

We are seeking a Staff Fraud & Risk Analyst as part of our growing Risk Insights and Experimentation team within Intuit’s Global Solutions Business Group (GSBG). Be at the cutting edge of the Fintech industry - the GSBG division moves tens of billions of dollars in money for Intuit’s customers.

The successful analyst will work across functions (Fraud & Risk Policy, Data Science, Compliance, Marketing, Product, Finance, etc.) and use data to drive insights which help achieve Intuit Global Solutions Business Group’s short and long-term business outcomes.

We’re looking for a candidate who will continue to build a strong analytics culture as part of our growing team. This role reports to the Senior Risk Analytics Manager of GBSG Policy Analytics as part of the broader GBSG Risk Organization.

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to shape analytics strategies that are scalable, repeatable, and aligned with team and company goals.
  • Perform deep analysis on large-scale transactional and behavioral data to uncover trends, diagnose anomalies, and inform compliance, fraud, credit, or policy strategies, including the design of new risk-adjusted approaches.
  • Evaluate compliance program effectiveness through data-driven reviews of remediation and onboarding flows, ensuring regulatory alignment and minimal customer impact.
  • Translate ambiguous questions into structured analytical approaches using available data, domain knowledge, and strategic reasoning.
  • Investigate root causes of performance gaps or anomalous behaviors, and recommend timely, data-driven corrective actions to stabilize outcomes.
  • Build and maintain clean, reliable data pipelines while proactively addressing gaps in data quality, availability, and structure to enable accurate experimentation and monitoring.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Quicksight, Tableau, Qlik) and experience building dashboards for monitoring and decision support.
  • Solid comprehension of A/B testing and experimentation principles; experience designing tests and interpreting results to guide decisions.
  • Proven track record of influencing cross-functional team decisions through data-driven recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear narratives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and align stakeholders across many teams through analytics.
