Job Overview
Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) is seeking a Senior Staff Product Manager to join our Workforce Solutions Product Management organization within the Employment Policies capability. This role is integral to our mission of transforming Workforce Solutions from a reactive system into a proactive, intelligent compliance platform for small and mid-market businesses. You will lead the charge in defining how AI and integrated product experiences simplify complex labor laws.
About the Role
As a Senior Staff Product Manager, you will be the owner of critical compliance domains, such as Payroll reporting & KPIs, an Overtime engine, and Time Off policies. Your primary focus will be on achieving a single source of truth for this data and policies by harmonizing the current disjointed workflows between QuickBooks Payroll, Time and Accounting. A key initiative will be leveraging AI to build a "Policies Rules Engine" that proactively detects errors, provides guidance, and automates compliance across multi-jurisdictional rules for the US, Canada, and the UK.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate possesses deep domain expertise in payroll compliance and is passionate about solving complex, multi-layered regulatory problems through elegant, automated solutions. You must be skilled at driving product integrations (like the planned use of GoCo's rule capabilities for Overtime and Time Off) and leveraging AI to reduce administrative burdens for mid-market customers. You should be a decisive leader capable of translating intricate legal requirements into clear product roadmaps that deliver significant customer confidence and compliance.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Drive the E2E vision and roadmap for Overtime and Time Off compliance policies within QuickBooks Payroll, ensuring a consolidated, accurate experience across both QuickBooks Payroll and QuickBooks Time.
Contribute to the "Employment Policies AI" strategy by defining the requirements for the AI-powered rules engine to automate, detect, and correct errors related to overtime calculations, and time-off accruals across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.
Spearhead the migration and harmonization of policy logic, leveraging capabilities like GoCo's robust rule framework to establish a single source of truth for both Overtime and Time Off.
Drive the Payroll reporting and business intelligence strategy within the QuickBooks ecosystem (KPIs, insights, custom report building).
Collaborate with engineering and compliance teams to ensure 100% coverage of federal, state, and local rules for prioritized employment policies.
Define and prioritize features—such as Overtime Alerts and smart Time Off policy recommendations—that proactively manage compliance risk and reduce the customer's manual compliance burden.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including AI, BI, Time and GoCo teams) to implement an end-to-end user experience, from policy setup to in-product rules enforcement and proactive compliance
