Job Overview
The AI Acceleration team for QuickBooks delivers digital expertise and assistance to Small Businesses through the use of Generative AI technologies to help businesses succeed. By anticipating future customer needs, business trends, and understanding external technology, our multi-disciplinary team propels the next generation of customer experiences.
QuickBooks seeks a Staff Content Designer to own and drive the end-to-end content strategy and execution generative AI experiences. The team is focused on providing foundational AI capabilities across the QuickBooks ecosystem, as well as a new offerings like Intuit Intelligence. A Staff Content Designer is responsible for leading content design across a complex domain; driving strategies for voice, tone, patterns, and accessibility; and partnering with product, technical, legal, and compliance partners to create effective and engaging content experiences.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of content design strategies for a suite of generative AI products
Write clear, concise, and engaging content for a variety of audiences and purposes.
Collaborate with product designers to effectively employ generative AI writing tools in crafting effective messaging for user flows
Coach and mentor other content designers on voice, tone, patterns, and accessibility.
Review and edit content created by other designers
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders, including marketing, to ensure that content is aligned with user needs and business goals
Collaborate with user researchers to understand user needs and preferences
Use data to define success, support hypotheses, and understand trends, collaborating with data partners to gain insights and ensure data usability
Contribute to roadmapping and planning, making informed decisions
Create content prototypes and mockups to test with customers
Present strategic and executional work at all levels of leadership, soliciting and acting on feedback received
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in content design and development
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field preferred
7+ years of experience in content design or a related field
Strong portfolio showing content design deliverables, including strategies
Excellent writing and editing skills
Experience with content strategy, information architecture, and user experience design
Strong understanding of design principles and best practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
