Company Overview
Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
Job Overview
Intuit is a global platform company that is on a mission to power prosperity around the world for consumers, small businesses and the self-employed. Across our leading brands – Turbo Tax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp – Intuit serves over 100M customers and is one of the few companies in the world to have both a thriving consumer and small business ecosystem. Intuit is known for its innovation track record, customer centricity, and its consistent recognition as a top place to work.
The Consumer Group (CG) is transforming its Product Management function to drive innovation with velocity, customer-centricity, and data-informed strategic bets. Within Consumer Group, TurboTax is a >$4.9B business today, yet the opportunity still ahead of us is much larger. Although we deliver a category-leading online DIY tax software for nearly 40M filers, there are still 85M American consumers who spend too much time and money on inefficient and expensive tax prep services. In joining the Consumer Group, you would have the opportunity to shape the future of how tens of millions of people get their biggest paycheck of the year — their tax refund.
The TurboTax Growth team is focused on our existing and prospective customers’ experience from landing pages through login and product selection. We create intuitive and engaging experiences powered by personalization algorithms that optimize the creative, offers, and onboarding flow for each visitor.
We’re seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead our Answer Engine Optimization (AEO, frequently referred to as Generative Engine Optimization/GEO) and Visitor Routing initiatives. With the rapid shift from traditional search to generative engines like Gemini and ChatGPT, TurboTax must evolve how customers discover and enter our ecosystem. You’ll drive the strategy and roadmap to ensure TurboTax remains highly relevant, discoverable, and optimized across this new search paradigm. Additionally, you’ll lead product initiatives that ensure that visitors from multiple marketing channels are routed to the most relevant and effective TurboTax front door.
As Staff Product Manager, you’ll drive business growth through ensuring discoverable, relevant, and GEO optimized experiences for customers, and ensure visitors are routed to the optimal first experience. Success in this role requires deep customer empathy, fluency in the evolving AEO/GEO landscape, and an experimentation mindset. You’ll identify and prioritize high-impact opportunities, develop a clear path to execution, and inspire cross-functional partners to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions that fuel Intuit’s continued leadership. This role will require partnership with multiple internal organizations including our other TurboTax PM teams, Engineering, Design, AI & Data Science, Marketing, Finance and Data platform teams.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Define and lead the product vision and strategy to ensure optimized top of funnel performance, with a focus on discoverability and optimization for AEO/GEO.
- Lead product initiatives which will drive optimal visitor routing to TurboTax front doors.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Marketing to deliver measurable customer and financial outcomes.
- Mentor other product managers as a senior member of the PM team
Qualifications
Experience:
- 4+ years in Product Management driving experimentation and personalization.
- 2+ years leading top-of-funnel growth, SEO, or emerging GEO initiatives.
- 2+ years applying ML to improve acquisition, CTR, conversion, and/or personalization.
Qualifications
- Deep experience with web and mobile-first customer experiences, ideally in mass market (20+ million monthly uniques), consumer-facing products.
- Deep customer obsession and strong track record delivering customer value through product innovation inspired by direct customer observations and quantitative data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels. Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional teams.
- Strong technical curiosity and a bias for experimentation and data driven decision making. You actively explore emerging AI tools to accelerate product innovation.
If you’re passionate about using AI, customer insights, and data to define how millions of customers discover and engage with TurboTax in the generative era, we’d love to meet you.
