Job Overview
We are searching for a highly motivated Software Engineer to join our frontend
engineering team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and
maintaining end-to-end Marketplace experiences for our customers.
Responsibilities
- You take pride in creating Front End magic
- Deep customer empathy and ability to quickly translate insights into mockups,
wireframes, and working proof-of-concept code
- Expertise in the successful delivery of high quality web application code
(requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.)
- Contribute to overall site stability, including code reviews, writing unit and
integration tests
Qualifications
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years experience developing web, software, or mobile applications
- 3+ years experience with JavaScript and React
- 3+ years experience in the Software design/architecture process
- Strong experience with HTML and CSS
- Experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical
issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)perience:
- Experience developing, maintaining, and innovating large scale, consumer
facing web or mobile applications
- Experience with various, modern web frameworks
